Future of Africa supports academically bright children who have been taken off the streets achieve their academic dreams by sponsoring their education.
Norviwo Scholars Program provides continuous support for former street children (FOA Scholars) in their pursuit of formal education. We invest in bright children by sponsoring their academic journeys from primary education all the way to tertiary education. We partner with exceptional schools which understand the unique needs of the children we work with and can provide a stable and nurturing environment where these intelligent minds can focus on their studies and thrive. We know that with a quality education, these former street residents have a much better chance of staying off the streets for good.

Make A Donation Become A VolunteerNAS is an education and wellbeing program offering full scholarships for academically bright but economically disadvantaged youth. We support former street residents to gain an education, knowledge and skills to become employable and responsible citizens in future. Future of Africa also provides ongoing moral support and mentorship to ensure that FOA Scholars are making progress in school.
The criteria for becoming a scholar
1. Children living in street situations between the ages of 12 to 14 years
2. Children who demonstrate a strong commitment to joining our scholars program by consistently participating in our street outreach
3. Children who demonstrate a track record of academic excellence and may have been out of school for no more than three years
Future of Africa supports 14 former street children in their educational journeys. This support has achieved remarkable outcomes, with many of our youth successfully transitioning to senior high school and securing university admissions.
Every moment a child is off the streets and in the classroom is another moment for the Future of Africa.

Ten former street children have embarked on vocational training programs to launch successful careers in fields like fashion design, auto mechanics, carpentry and catering.
Through street outreach, leadership workshops, and reflection sessions, FOA immerses high school and university students in the challenges faced by street children, helping them understand the issue and become advocates for change.
